An office that looks like the brand on screen
A media brand’s office is part of its storytelling. Discovery Networks wanted a Dubai Studio City workplace that feels energetic and unmistakably Discovery from the moment visitors arrive.
IAN TECH delivered the fit out and the MEP coordination behind it – exposed ceilings, lighting, graphics walls, partitions, finishes and the reception – as one programme.
The design mixes large-scale brand imagery with an industrial open ceiling, pendant lighting and patterned carpet tiles for a lively, creative feel.
Scope of work
What we delivered
Our team built the interior and coordinated the services, so lighting, air conditioning and power suit an open ceiling and a busy, screen-heavy workplace.
Reception
A white reception counter with blue under-lighting and the Discovery Networks CEEMEA logo on the wall behind.
Brand graphic walls
Full-height printed walls featuring Discovery imagery line the corridors and give the office its character.
Open ceiling
An exposed, dark-painted ceiling with white dome pendants – an industrial look that suits a media company.
Open-plan workspace
Rows of workstations with red accents and screens for the team, with glazed rooms along the edge.
Flooring
Grey and red patterned carpet tiles that mark circulation routes and soften acoustics.
MEP services
Air conditioning, lighting, power and data points coordinated with the exposed ceiling and new layout.
